Through the end of 2020, Team Heretics showed some great improvements inside the server and had great results in the tournaments. They attended their first biggest event in December, First Strike Europe, and got the trophy over the current Fnatic roster.

However, the roster started to underperform in 2021, even though they qualified for the VCT 2021: Europe Stage 2 Challangers. In the event, Team Heretics couldn’t put on a great show and couldn’t qualify for the VCT Masters Reykjavík.

Because of that, they wanted to change the roster for the upcoming tournaments. Dustyn “niesoW” Durnas, Auni “AvovA” Chahade, Žygimantas “nukkye” Chmieliauskas, and Melih “pAura” Karaduran left the roster.

Then, Team Heretics signed Ardis “ardiis” Svarenieks, Patryk “paTiTek” Fabrowski, and Ondřej “MONSTEERR” Petrů. Also, the organization revealed that Christian “lowel” Garcia Antoran will remain on the team.

As the community was waiting for the last member of the organization, Team Heretics announced the signing of German youngster Felix “al0rante” Brandl. With this addition, Team Heretics showed how much they care about the young talents in the scene.

While Team Heretics welcoming their players, al0rante seemed pretty excited to join such an organization. “To celebrate joining Team Heretics, I’ve uploaded a new highlight video edited by jams,” he said. “Thank you for the support.”

Team Heretics is now:

  • Ardis “ardiis” Svarenieks
  • Patryk “paTiTek” Fabrowski
  • Christian “lowel” Garcia Antoran
  • Ondřej “MONSTEERR” Petrů
  • Felix “al0rante” Brandl
