Michael Wince, known as “Grim,” is a 19-year-old American CS:GO player who had played for teams like Triumph Gaming, Bad News Bears, Spacestation Gaming, and more.

After Team Liquid announced the departure of their legendary player and in-game leader Nicholas “nitr0” Cannella, Grim was the possible transfer for the roster, according to many of the sources.

Yesterday, Team Liquid make a new statement on the official website and revealed that they agreed with Grim as a fifth player. Also, Grim stated that he is so excited for this opportunity and said that he will work harder for his future goals.

Here is the official statement from Team Liquid:

“We’re very happy to introduce you to Grim — one of the most talented riflers in North America. While he does have some big shoes to fill, he has shown us nothing but hunger and determination to help elevate us back to the #1 spot in the world.

More than just determination though, he has proven himself time and time again with his skills against some of the best teams in the world and we are very excited to accomplish great things together — starting with DreamHack.”

Team Liquid asked Grim:

“Over the last couple of years, you’ve been making waves as one of the best up and coming players in NA. What does it mean to you to have your abilities recognized and be asked to join Team Liquid?”

Grim replied:

For me it really means the world to me that such an amazing organization and team is reaching out to me, it lets me know that my hard work is being recognized and inspires me to work even harder to accomplish my goals and make sure they made the right choice choosing me.”
