Russel David Van Dulken, known as “Twistzz,” is a 20-year-old Canadian CS:GO player who has been playing for Team Liquid since April 2017. In his career, he earned around $800.000 from the tournaments that he attended.

About a week ago, Team Liquid decided to part ways with their long-time player Nicholas “nitr0” Cannella, and agreed with Michael “Grim” Wince as a fifth player.

Yesterday, nitr0 took to his official Instagram account and wrote an open letter to his teammates to say goodbye to them. While nitr0 was sharing his feelings in the letter, Twistzz added a comment in the post.

Twistzz stated that it was an honor to play with nitr0 for over three years and said that nitr0 built his own legacy in the Counter-Strike scene. Also, Twistzz said that they will miss nitr0 and farewelled his former captain.

Here is what Twistzz said:

“It was an honor being your teammate for the past 3 years. You have a legacy built from cs and it will follow you where ever you go, we’ll miss you man.”

I wasn’t going to write anything long, but here we are… Jon, you’ve been an incredible teammate over the past 5 years and I’ve learned so much from you, not only as a person, but as a teammate and it’s been amazing watching you grow up and become one of the best players in the whole entire world, who would have thought, seriously. Russell, you’ve been an amazing teammate and person since we’ve picked you up and your aim is incredible and I’ll always say you have the best aim in the world. It’s been so awesome seeing such a mechanically gifted player become one of the best out there. I’m gonna miss working out with you and Jon, we learned a lot together not only in the game, but outside of it as well. Keith, you’ve been the person who was always the wild card on the team, but the truth is I’ve been knowing you the longest out of my whole entire CS career and it’s been awesome seeing you go thru all the different teams and then finally cement yourself on a team and achieve greatness with us. I’m gonna miss your troll ass and your insane memory of literally the most random stuff ever. Jake, you were definitely the best pickup we could’ve made in 2019 and you were the missing piece we needed to really achieve our dreams. You are the hardest worker along with Jon I have ever met, and you’re a great leader and you’re going to continue being great. We grew a close relationship on the team and it’s one I’ll cherish. Im gonna miss traveling the world with you guys, it was an honor. We always looked out for each other and I hope you guys continue to do that and stay close. Shoutout to Joka for being the person who made you laugh no matter how pissed you were, you were truly the best manager we could’ve asked for. You’re a clown my brother. And Eric, been knowing you forever, you opened up the opportunity to join Liquid and I’ll be forever grateful. You’ve always been an amazing teammate and you’re probably the person Jon and I learned from the most so I can honestly say we wouldn’t be here without you man. Gonna miss you all ❤️
