Jord van Geldere, known as “ibiza,” is a 23-year-old Dutch PUBG player who has been representing Team Liquid for over two years. Before that, he was playing for Team Kinguin. In his career, he earned around $200.000 from the events.

Yesterday, ibiza shared a new post on his official Twitter account and slammed the PUBG developers by saying this is not 2017 anymore. He stated that battle-royale games are evolving and this game also needs a change.

Here is what ibiza said:

“I wanna have a mature discussion with a higher-up from PUBG regarding the game. U got a great product, it’s time for a change. It’s not 2017 anymore. The whole BR genre changed. I get the part where communication plays a big role in these companies, but come on. Dangit man.

How do we reach out to a higher-up? They should be passionate about the game to right, let’s have a normal discussion with a few others. How else do you improve”

Team SoloMid player mykLe replied:

“It really feels like they’re too worried to think outside of the box and do something creative or even ‘copy’ what other successful BR’s are doing. Like they never want to take a risk.”

Famous content creator sprEEEzy replied:

“It’s so funny that 3 years later we still don’t know the people that make all macro decisions in Bluehole.”
