Barney Morris, known as “Alphari,” is a 21-year-old British League Of Legends player who has been representing Team Liquid for almost a year. Previously, he was playing for Astralis and Origen.

During a recent post-match interview with Travis Gafford after their victory against MAD Lions, Alphari shared his opinion about the North American and European teams at the League Of Legends World Championship.

In the conversation, Alphari claimed that European teams are not really strong as they were in the past in 2021 Worlds and said that he doesn’t expect any of the European teams to make it out to the group stage.

Furthermore, the talented top laner mentioned that North American teams are at a similar level to European ones if not better, and therefore, they have a really great chance to qualify for the playoffs.

In addition to that, Alphari revealed his opinion about the other NA teams and even though he is hopeful to see Cloud9 and 100 Thieves in the playoffs, he believes that it is unlikely to happen due to their groups.

Alphari on European teams:

“NA currently is at a similar level to Europe if not better, Europe is not a particularly strong region at this event. I don’t expect any of the European teams to make it out of groups.”
