Lucas Tao Kilmer Larsen, known as “Santorin,” is a 24-year-old Danish League Of Legends player who has been playing for Team Liquid since November 2020. Previously, he was playing for FlyQuest.

In LCS Summer 2021 split, Team Liquid played pretty decent and finished the regular season in fifth place behind Team SoloMid, 100 Thieves, Evil Geniuses, and Cloud9. In the playoffs, on the other hand, they played extremely well.

They managed to beat Cloud9, Team SoloMid, and 100 Thieves to reach out to the finals. However, they could not get the trophy from 100 Thieves in the finals, who reached the finals from the lower bracket.

After the devastating loss, Santorin took his official Twitter account to share a new post and revealed his feelings about the matchup.

In the tweet, Santorin pointed out how much he feels bad right now by saying that there are no words that can describe his feelings. Afterward, Santorin apologized to the fans because of their poor performance.

While Santorin was admitting that he failed everybody when it mattered the most, he also mentioned that he will hopefully redeem himself in the League Of Legends World Championship. Then, he congratulated 100 Thieves for the victory.

Santorin said these words after losing in the finals:

No words can describe how I feel right now. Sorry to everyone, especially my team. When it mattered most, I failed. It’s been a rough year so far and my only hopes are to redeem myself at worlds. GG’s to 100T and especially closer, you’re a beast.”
