After G2 Esports struggled to find success last year, they decided to part ways with Daniel “Goga” Mazorra Romero, and then with their captain Fabian “Fabian” Hällsten.

Team Vitality wanted to establish a super team in the scene and decided to add Goga and Hungry, as well as adding Fabian into the roster. However, they couldn’t find any success in this period.

Because of that, they decided to part ways with Goga and Hungry while benching Fabian. Afterward, Team Vitality announced the signings of P4, Shiinka, and Kaktus as they return to the French roster.

Here is the official announcement from Team Vitality:

“First, Goga & Fabian are being moved out of the active line-up. They are extremely talented, but sadly things didn’t click. Tryouts were conducted to see if a new project could be built around them, but proved unsuccessful, therefore leading to this hard decision.

Secondly, we are bidding farewell to Hungry. We’ve been very happy to count him in our ranks for the entirety of the 2020 season and wish him the very best in the future.”

They continued:

“Looking at the future, we’re super happy to welcome P4, Shiinka & Kaktus! 🙌

With this full french-speaking roster, we’re looking forward to building a solid training program despite the situation & reach higher objectives early in 2021.”
