Team Vitality Announces Unexpected CS:GO Roster Changes

Nathan Schmitt, known as “NBK” is a 25-year-old CS:GO player who had played for teams like G2 Esports, Team EnVyUs, Titan Esports and many more. Since October 2018, he was playing for Team Vitality. On 7 September, Team Vitality announced that they benched NBK because of his role.

Team Vitality said:

“CSGO Update: we decided to remove @NBK from the starting roster. The team has shown amazing results but a change was needed as the squad in its current form, with 2 in-game leaders, reached its limits. NBK’s professionalism, talent & dedication played a big part in the many achievements recorded since the creation of the squad. However, the entire team had a hard time being consistent recently and a big decision was mandatory to go forward.“

Team Vitality added:

“As of now, NBK is still under contract with Team Vitality and a decision regarding his future will come in the upcoming days.”

NBK said:

“I heard the news few hours ago, so I have not much to say tonight. But I’m far from done. I’m gonna have to flex tomorrow, find an international team and remind why I am in this position, and then we’ll get back at fighting for the top positions!”

As of now, NBK is still under contract with Team Vitality and a decision regarding his future will come in the upcoming days.
