Team Vitality is one of the most popular teams in the League Of Legends European Championship Summer 2021 due to their high-risk and high-reward squad that featuring Adam “LIDER” Ilyasov, Oskar “Selfmade” Boderek, and Juš “Crownshot” Marušič.

Since the beginning of this split, Team Vitality has been showing some great results such as beating Schalke 04 Esports and G2 Esports. However, they had also some bad games against Excel Esports, Astralis, and Misfits Gaming.

Before the split starts, they sent their Mathias “Szygenda” Jensen to the academy roster to fix the mistakes in there, and Szygenda has been having a great split in the academy roster since the beginning.

Therefore, Team Vitality decided to promote Szygenda for week 5 of LEC and revealed that this decision only made because of the improvements Szygenda has in the academy league. During this period, Enzo “SLT” Gonzalez will be playing with the academy roster.

It will be a great change for Szygenda to show his true potential as he will be facing against Fnatic’s Adam “Adam” Maanane on the top lane in the first match. In the second day, he will play against SK Gaming’s Janik “Jenax” Bartels.

“When Szygenda was moved to the academy team, he was given a clear outline of what we felt he needed to improve on.” Team Vitality’s coach Mateusz “Tasz” Borkowski talked about the decision.

“Since then, he has made significant progress in and outside of the game,” he said. “In light of these improvements, we have made the decision to promote Szygenda to the LEC team for this week’s games. SLT will take his place on the Academy Team.”

Team Vitality will be playing with this squad in the week 5 of LEC:

  • Mathias “Szygenda” Jensen
  • Oskar “Selfmade” Boderek
  • Adam “LIDER” Ilyasov
  • Juš “Crownshot” Marušič
  • Labros “Labrov” Papoutsakis
