Fabian “Fabian” Hällsten is a 26-year-old Swedish Rainbow Six Siege player who had been playing for G2 Esports since August 2018. In March, he was benched and in June 2020, he decided to join Team Vitality.

Yesterday, Ubisoft announced their first worldwide national championship, Rainbow Six Siege World Cup, and revealed the details of building the national rosters. The most important detail is, only 2 of the same nationality players in the same team could represent the country.

After learning about the news, Fabian took to his official Twitter account to share his reaction about the tournament and criticized it harshly.

In the post, Fabian said that these rules just set up to screw Sweden over and explained why it would be really hard for Sweden. Also, Fabian mentioned the decision behind inviting Spain and Italy even though they don’t have many players in the Pro League.

Here is what Fabian wrote:

“The world cup is literally set up to screw Sweden over, only 2 players from one org, so we can’ take the 3 EUL players from Chaos also they invite Spain and Italy over us and Finland, can’t remember last time Italy had a player in highest league and Spain haven’t anyone but Goga.”

His former teammate Pengu replied:

“Speak for yourself we don’t even have more than one danish pro lmao – team restriction is good though.”
