Niclas Mouritzen, known as “Pengu,” is a 23-year-old Danish Rainbow Six Siege player who has been playing for G2 Esports since August 2018. In his career, he earned over $300.000 from the tournaments.

Even at this such young age, Pengu managed to win over eight top-tier tournaments that made him one of the most earning players in the game. Unfortunately, Pengu decided to retire from the competitive scene although he was still one of the best players on the scene.

While Pengu was saying that he was living his childhood dream for five years, he also said goodbye to the professional scene. Additionally, Pengu stated that he can not wait to show people what the future holds for him.

Here is what Pengu wrote:

“It’s been five years. Five years of living my childhood dream, and getting to experience the most incredible things.

I have stepped down as an active pro league player active as of this tweet.

I can’t wait to show you what the future holds. But for now, we gotta be patient.”
