Óscar Cañellas Colocho, known as “Mixwell,” is a 24-year-old Spanish former CS:GO player who had played for teams like Cloud9, Optic Gaming, and more. In his CS:GO career, he earned around $240.000 from the tournaments.

Before joining the Valorant scene, Mixwell was one of the most consistent AWP players in the CS:GO scene, and his career earnings and achievements peeked with the Optic Gaming in between 2016-2018.

However, he decided to join the Spanish organization Movistar Riders after leaving Optic and played well in the tournaments. Last year, he tried himself in Cloud9 with a new project, but things didn’t go well with the roster.

After the release of Valorant, he started the play it a lot on the streams and attended lots of tournaments, including Twitch Rivals. He won Twitch Rivals: VALORANT Launch Showdown – Europe and G2 Esports Invitational back to back.

In June 2020, he decided to join G2 Esports as a Valorant player and became the captain of the team. In their first tournament, Mixwell and his colleagues looked dominant in the server and won Vitality European Open.

After a short period, they played in the WePlay! Invitational and met fish123 in the finals. They got the first map, Bind, with 13-9 and ended the matchup in the Ascent with 13-8 scores. Also, this was one of the biggest prize pools they earned in their history.

After this tournament, the honeymoon started for G2 Esports. They won six high-tier tournaments in a row such as Mandatory.gg Cup, Allied Esports Odyssey, and more.

Most recently, they played BLAST Twitch Invitational and secure the finals once again. They met with FunPlus Phoenix in the finals and got a tough victory with the 3-2 score. Additionally, this was the biggest prizemoney they earned from the one tournament, which is $29.635.

Less than a year, Mixwell got huge achievements in Valorant and became one of the most earning players in the game. Following the results from the 12 tournaments, Mixwell earned a total of $24.788 in 2020 so far, and it seems like there is a high chance to win more by the end of the year.
