Jacky Yip, known as “Stewie2k” is a 21-year-old American CS:GO player who has been representing Team Liquid since December 2018. Before that, he had played for MIBR and Cloud9. On 22 October, he shared his thoughts about Cloud9’s decision for benching 18-year-old player Tyson “TenZ” Ngo.

Stewie2k said:

“After watching Tenz’s explanation, I totally disagree with what he’s saying. Summing up the entire explanation, everything he’s explained contradicts itself. Cloud9’s playstyle is actually structured, but the individual can pick what he wants to do rather than being micromanaged”

Stewie2k continued:

“Their system just requires 5 minds in 1 & understand what teammates are doing around each other, even if you’re not apart of the play. If you aren’t apart of the play, the plays your teammates are making can cause movement on your side of the map as well. Similar to Fnatic”

He added:

“Anyways, I hope for Cloud9 to find their footing & find their success soon”
