Filip Tudev, known as “tudsoN,” is a 21-year-old Polish CS:GO player who had been playing for MAD Lions since March 2021. Before that, he had played for Team Secret and stood in for AVEZ.

Since his addition to MAD Lions, tudsoN had been competing to get the AWP spot with Volodymyr “Woro2k” Veletniuk. Unfortunately, the Polish player couldn’t find a chance to play while Woro was putting great numbers.

Yesterday, both MAD Lions and tudsoN announced that they mutually agreed on parting ways via Twitter and tudsoN explained the main reason of his departure.

Following six months with MAD Lions competing for the AWP spot, tudsoN pointed out that he wanted to play full-time instead of being the sixth player and decided to step back to more forward.

While tudsoN was saying that he has a big urge for success, he also thanked all the MAD Lions staff for their hard work. Besides that, tudsoN mentioned that he learned a lot during his time with the organization.

Here is tudsoN’s announcement:

“Back to why im leaving MAD Lions. From the start, I knew this project will consist of 6 players. 2 Awpers basically fighting for the spot in the long term. I took a challenge and was really determined to prove myself and be in the main roster, and I know I did my best to prove my abilities.

But sometimes life is brutal and full of zasadzkas and therefore Woro was picked for the main roster and I got the option to be the 6th guy, even though I was the 6th player for some time I had a chance to look at the game at a different perspective which I believe made me a better person and a player.

The feeling of not playing much and seeing other’s succeed made me realise that I need to get my shit together and take a step back to make 2 steps forward. I believe in myself and I have a big urge to start winning trophies.”
