Jaryd Lazar, known as “Summit1g,” is a 30-year-old American former CS:GO player who had played for teams like Mythic, subtLe, and more. After his retirement, he became a full-time streamer on Twitch.

Today, summit took to his official Twitter account to share a new post and saddened the whole community with the important announcement.

In the tweet, summit stated that he had a family member passed away and will spend time with his mother for a day. Even though summit said that he doesn’t want to stream because of the situation, he relieved the fans by saying that there is nothing to worry about.

Here is what Summit1g said:

“Had a passing in the family today. Gonna day off to spend time with mom. Don’t worry, we’re good. Just doesn’t feel right to stream.”
