Joshua “Steel” Nissan is a 30-year-old CS:GO player who had been playing under Chaos Esports Club jersey for over nine months. About a week ago, he parted ways with the team. In his career, he earned over $100.000 from the events.

For a while, there was a rumor about Steel that he won’t continue in the Counter-Strike scene and will switch to the Riot Games’ Valorant. After announcing his departure from Chaos Esports Club, the rumor became true.

100 Thieves made an official announcement via Twitter and revealed that they agreed with Steel as the third player for the Valorant roster.

While 100 Thieves was showing their excitement about adding such a veteran player to the roster, Steel also said that he is looking forward to playing the game with the roster and thanked 100 Thieves for the opportunity.

Here is the official statement from 100 Thieves:

Announcing the newest addition to our Valorant roster: Steel. He is an incredibly skilled & talented player from the Counter-Strike scene. We’re so excited to start a new chapter of his competitive career with him in Valorant. Welcome to 100 Thieves!”

Steel said:

“Thanks for this opportunity. Let’s kick-arse!”
