Dauren Kystaubayev, known as “AdreN,” is a 30-year-old Kazakh CS:GO player who has been playing for Virtus.pro since December 2019. Before that, he had played for teams like AVANGAR, FaZe Clan, Gambit Esports and many more.

On the other hand, Dzhami “Jame” Ali is a 21-year-old Russian AWP player who has been representing Virtus.pro for over three months. In his career, he earned over $150.000 from the tournaments.

After a long time without any success, Virtus.pro decided to change their captain of the team. They removed the in-game leading and captain role of Dzhami “Jame” Ali and put AdreN in charge.

Coach of the team, Dastan “dastan” Akbayev said:

“We’re not planning on making any changes in the team before the Major to avoid unnecessary backfires at the present moment. For now, AdreN takes on the captain role, Jame and others are focusing on their individual game.

I also met up with team psychologists, who should help the team bond and get rid of nerves during crucial moments. “

He added:

“Looking at our stats, I’m not upset with the fact that we have lost, but with the fact that it seems that we lack two or three rounds. Victory is seemingly so close, but it slips away.

You lose confidence going into your next match, and when it happens tournament after tournament you start to think there’s no escape. That’s why we needed a bit of a shakeup to fix such mental blocks.”
