Richard Landström, known as “Xizt,” is a 30-year-old Swedish CS:GO player who had played for teams such as Ninjas In Pyjamas, Fnatic, and many more. Most recently, he was playing for Dignitas.

Last month, the veteran player announced his retirement from the competitive scene by saying that he doesn’t have the motivation to grind anymore, but he will not be leaving the Counter-Strike scene.

Following a month of this announcement, European organization Heroic announced on their official Twitter account that they signed Xizt as their new analyst coach position and welcomed their new member.

Furthermore, the organization revealed that Xizt will be working with the team for the PGL Stockholm Major 2021 and will help them elevate our team to new heights in 2021. In the meantime, Xizt revealed that he is so excited to work with such talented players.

Heroic will be competing at PGL Stockholm Major from the Challengers stage and try to make it out to the Legends stage. From there, they will be facing the best teams to get the major trophy for the first time.

Here’s the official announcement:

Welcome to the Heroic family Xizt! Xizt will join us as an analyst and step in as coach for the Major. We are excited to have a true CS legend onboard!

We are certain he will help us elevate our team to new heights in 2021. We are honored to have you as a part of our team.”
